Remove All Images from a Word Document at once..
Then, in the “Editing” portion of the toolbar, select “Replace.”
Click the “Find what” box in the “Find and Replace” window that appears. Type the following in the box:
^g
You can also pick “Special” and “Graphic” from the menu by clicking the “More” button. Word will automatically insert a "g" for you.
“g” is a special code that stands for “graphic” in this case. All photographs, maps, and graphs in your paper are included in this "graphic" tag. But don't worry, if you delete anything by accident, you can reverse this phase later.
Then, at the bottom of the window, press "Replace Everything."
Your document's images will be deleted.
If you want to restore them, press Ctrl+Z on Windows or Command+Z on Mac to undo the deletion.
You can also re-insert photos if desired.
Hopefully this will be helpful.
