Windows 10 - Take Screenshot without a Keyboard
What if you need to take a screenshot in Windows 10 but don't have a keyboard with a "Print Screen" key—or no keyboard at all? Fortunately, thanks to a built-in tool called Snip & Sketch, capturing your screen with just a mouse is easy. Here's how to do it.
Open the Start menu and search for “Snip & Sketch” in the alphabetical applications list to run Snip & Sketch without a keyboard. To use it, simply click on its icon.
Click the "New" button while Snip & Sketch is open.
You may perform a rectangular snip, a freeform snip, a window snip, or a fullscreen snip using a toolbar that appears at the top of the screen. Pick the choice that best fits your needs, then select a portion of the screen if appropriate.
In the Snip & Sketch pane, you'll see a preview of it after you've captured your screenshot. Click the "Save" button, which resembles a small floppy disk, to save the screenshot.
Browse to where you want to save the screenshot in the file save dialog. The nice thing about Snip & Sketch is that it names your screenshots automatically with a timestamp, so you don't have to type in a new name. When you're done, press "Save."
Your screenshot has now been saved without the need for a keyboard.
If you think you'll be taking a lot of screenshots this way, pin Snip & Sketch to your taskbar so you don't have to look for it in the Start menu all the time. Right-click the Snip & Sketch icon and choose "Pin to taskbar" from the drop-down menu.
